You’re a strategic HR professional ready to shift career gears and put your know-how to use helping others. You’re already a go-to resource for your peers, can empathize with the struggles HR pros encounter, and have strong writing skills. Because, in addition to curating great content, you’ll also be contributing.
Develop, drive and manage programs to facilitate member-to-member engagement and increase community value for HR professionals
Build relationships with the community and encourage engagement
Engage community members and ensure questions get answered
Facilitate Ask Me Anything Reddit-style Q&A sessions in the community platform
Identify and nurture community champions to facilitate knowledge sharing in the community (guest articles, AMAs, podcast interviews, webinars, local event speakers, video shorts)
Keep an active pulse on community conversations, and transform them into content that can be shared with the community
Report on trends, identify content gaps, and find ways to fill the gaps
Publish news items
Poll the community and share results
Craft helpful articles. Occasionally, topics will get hairy (think legislative stuff), so ability to distill complicated material into digestible chunks is a bonus
Collaborate with our field marketing manager to promote online and in-person, local community events to grow engagement, interest, and passion for the community
Monitor and report on community health metrics, and drive continuous improvement
Experience as a strategic HR professional or HR consultant
Attention to detail, self-starting attitude, great communication and project management skills
Ability to write short and longer form copy that encourages engagement
Experience working with digital community platforms is a significant plus
Understanding of key community metrics and best practices
Social media savvy (specifically LinkedIn, Slack, YouTube, and Twitter)
Experience working with thought leaders to create video content
PR experience (such as submitting speaking proposals for conferences)
